Description of 1954 Nash Statesman Custom

1954 Nash Custom Statesman, very clean original car runs and drives well, brakes completely gone thru within the last year. The car has not been restored and really has not needed restoration work, it was not allowed to deteriorate over the years and was garaged, this has resulted in a car with all original and correct interior materials which are very difficult to duplicate. There is some very minor water staining on the drivers door panel and seat but for an original car very minor, original headliner and trunk mat.I see many fifties Nash cars for sale that have had the carpet and upholstery replaced with incorrect materials but this car is not altered in any way.If you like nice tidy and clean original cars then this is a good car for you.it is not a mint trailer queen but a very well preserved car that is in the condition that a well taken care of 1954 Nash might have been in say 1959 or so speedometer and radio do not work( showing 38,985 miles andI have records going back to the 1980's to verify)Body is excellent with no body rot, very nice paint with very minor really unnoticeable touchup.chrome original and very nice. One year only Nash Dual Powerflyte engine (flathead six with dual carbs and aluminum head) Hydramatic transmission, does not leak or drip any fluids. No power steering or brakesNash wire wheel hubcaps, excellent whitewall tires. Excellent Solex tinted glass with no cracks or fogging. Overall a nice clean car with a uniform overall appearance which makes up a nice, interesting to see car. I have owned this car for 6 years and am selling because andI need the garage space for another car and I really need to reduce the number of cars that I have, but honestly I have gone back and forth about selling this carfor the last year or so. It is listed with a very reasonable reserve and seriously for sale. Not listing with an unrealistic reserve so that I have to relist over and over.I would like to see the car go to a good home and a no drama saleIf you bid and win please be prepared to complete the sale. I will require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 3 days of end of auction. I can store the car for up to 30 days after full payment if you need time to arrange transport.
