Description of 1989 Nissan 240SX |
The car is badass. It runs amazing, drives awesome, and sounds killer. Car is located in Allentown PA. What exactly is a NEO SR20 engine and would I want this engine over a standard SR20DET? Outside of the car is clean for the most part. Car has a dent behind passenger lower rear tire. I took off the rear bumper to show the dent. (pictures shown) It is completely hidden by rear bumper. The rear bumper has some zip-ties (picture shown up close). Also the front has a dent inside driver front wheel fender well from a wreck a few years ago where the front wheel got pushed back. Frame is not damaged, and the i've been competing with the car ever since. The interior is nothing special. Cage. Gutted. Worn Sparco race seat. Dash doesn't work, all the gauges such as RPM, Engine Temp, and speed is run through the AEM EMS system. I never cared about the redline with this engine setup so I didn't try to get the gauge cluster to work the past 6 years i've used this car shell. Car just got a brand new engine and new EMS system. Car was tuned to be driven hard and on rev limiter; therefore, has a "SOFT" redline to cut ignition 500rpm before actual redline. Along with a 2 step launch control to be at max boost level when leaving the start line. BC Racing made a custom suspension setup for the car. The car was corner weighted, then BC Racing put Formula D winning springs rates on the coil-overs based on the car's weight and tires I run. They lengthened the rear coil-overs to accommodate the rear drop knuckles. The car was then corner weighted and balanced equally. The car handles awesome. The car can whip 360 drifts like none other. Car has been aligned and setup by a Formula D pro traveling mechanic, and I'm planning on getting it even more finely tuned with input by a local Formula D pro driver after he drifts the car and provides his thoughts. *Do to the car's sponsor constraints, the car will be sold with the wrap taken off. I may be able to work out a deal to have the car re-wrapped any color you would like. *I am accepting Best Offers if parts such as the Wisefab and/or BC suspension are removed, BUT I feel you would be doing a disservice to the complete car because the setup is near perfect at the moment to slay V8 competition. *Deposit is Non-Refundable I would love to answer any questions about the car you may have. And provide any additional photos of the car you would like to see up close. This car is legit, and a blast to drive. The car sounds badass on the track, and always a track favorite. Only selling because i'm looking to invest in some real estate.
