Description of 1990 Nissan Pathfinder SE |
Black Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 EXCELLENT Condition, only 93K miles! A rare vehicle... Jet black with the premium SE package. It has 4X4 w. Auto hubs, the famous VG30e engine (from the fair lady Z (300zx)!), all power options, auto temp controls, moon roof, a tow/hitch package, front brush guards, step rails, a roof rack, spoiler, and sport mode options for the transmission and struts. Top of the line in 1990! Interior is mint too, amazing for its age. It has five brand new 31" tires, a new stainless muffler, and the AC has been fully converted/ upgraded to modern 134A and recharged. Even comes with the original keys AND all booklets and packets from the factory. When I first got this beauty, the engine had a misfire and two windows didn't work. I replaced both window regulators and motors and replaced the entire ignition system. It still had a miss on one cylinder, so I did all six (!) fuel injectors with brand new ones and did the fuel filter. Now it pulls like a BEAST! I also did additional maintenance per the advice of other pathfinder owners: cleaned all electrical connections, drained and refilled the radiator, replaced coolant temp sensor, Air filter, the MAF sensor, and decarbed the throttle body (reinstalled with a new gasket). Of course, changed the oil & recharged the AC.I noticed the ECU wouldn't go into diagnostic mode, so I replaced that too! Finally, I upgraded the sound system: alpine stereo w. Aux in, usb and iPod control; pioneer front speakers & kenwood rear. It cost me $1400 in parts alone to get this baby in peak condition! There are very minor imperfections, such as one missing button on the window control panel, fog light/shock switches which are temperamental, a few small surface scratches, and a slight dimple/ding on the passengers door, as pictured. Not bad for a 26 year old truck! It is rare to find a car of this age and body style in this kind of condition, with such low miles. I am asking only for what I have invested, but will listen to offers. History: I took this pathfinder as a partial trade for my car which I sold this spring. I primarily took it (for $3000 trade value) because of its rare condition. This pathfinder was a daily driver in the 90s, and in the early 2000s it was sold to the original owner's brother and moved to Florida for use in his summer home. He lives in Europe, and for the past 15 years or so, it has been garaged in Florida and only used for his one visit to the US each year. Hence how it is so well preserved! For comparison, I have a BMW 5 series that is 13 years newer than this and is also black, and the pathfinder actually has better paint! Glad to answer any questions... offers considered (serious buyers should prob contact me first). Thanks for looking!
