Description of 1962 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight

I found this about 10 years ago, owner, rue grandma's car in a barn near my home. It was last on the road in 1986 when Grandma stopped driving. it had 41,757 miles on the clock!! I went throught it buying 5 new radial whitewall tires, ll new brake parts ( has dot 5 fluid, e cored the radiator, ew heater core, ll belts and hoses, ull tune up, ew exhaust system, new shocks, ew wheel bearings, as tank removed and coated, nstalled " secret Audio" radio and new speaker in original location.
I have driven it about 8000 miles, nd its a great ride! Unfortunately I need to make some changes and it is being offered for sale along with a few other items.
I really like the original paint, t has very little rust, ust a little in the rf fender and some peeking out in the quarters. The floors trunk and all other areas are rock solid. there is some surface rust as you can see in the pictures.
most everything works, he summer and winter climate controls all work perfectly, here is a vacuum operated trunk release in the glove box, t works great, peed o meter works revolving from green to orange to red! you will love that! the automatic transmission works as it should, he engine runs great. it needs a headliner and sun visors re upholstered.
It is a big block 394 Ultra High Compression, t is totally stock aside from new tune up items, here is a windshield washer bottle which is absolutely outstanding.
The trunk has the original upholstery and cardboard trim pieces as well as the original jack and lug wrench and matching new spare tire.
Glass is all pretty good, here is a corner cracked on the windshield it is minor and does not warrant replacement.
I have a pair of rust free dent free fenders and some other parts which may either be included depending on what the car sells for or available.
It is an old car and does need attention from time to time, t has never let me down or stranded me anywhere and I have driven it some serious distances.
