Description of 1988 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Wood Grain |
You are bidding on probably the nicest all original Custom Cruiser in the world. Fully loaded with all options available in 1988-Power Windows, 6 way Power Seat, Tilt Wheel, Luggage Carrier, RR Window Deflector, simulated wire with lock, rear defogger, and Automatic Leveling System. This car was custom ordered and took to long from the factory, so the original owner bought another car in the mean time while waiting on this car. It was eventually delivered, but the customer only put 979 miles and sold it to an older couple with no kids. They kept it for another 20 years and kept it garaged. I bought it from the gentleman who bought it from them. I washed it, waxed it and put a new headliner in, but other than that it is all original. It starts right up with no smoke and runs perfect. It shifts and breaks great and the AC is ice cold. It has no rips in the seat or carpet. I think the rear seat has never been used as the carpet is perfect and the carpet on the tailgate is perfect. These cars are very hard to find and this is the best example out there. What does it need? The wipers are not working right now and I didn't get into it to find out why. The plastic under the rear bumper has cracked. It has one ding under the 3rd breaklight and a few tiny marks in the wood grain on the passenger side rear door. It has a few places where they have used touch up paint, but not noticeable. This car has no rust. This car gets more looks than any car I have ever owned. It's cherry and looks like it dropped out of the sky from 1988. You won't find a nicer representation of a Custom Cruiser anywhere, this is a car that is a time capsule and very hard to find a wagon in this condition. You can tell they didn't use it much as it has no scratches in any of the interior plastic. Happy bidding! |
