Description of 1974 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Royale

History: I am the second owner of the vehicle which was purchased in 1979 from original owner. It has been stored inside the entire time and only taken out on sunny summer days. I have had the carpet replaced. The car is currently licenced and registered in New York State.: 455 cu in. Engine; duel exhaust, 4 barrel carburetor. 109,262 miles. The vehicle runs well. A minor fluid leak is apparent under the vehicle, but not substantial. A compression test on the cylinders done by my mechanic a few years ago met factory spec.
Convertable top motor works, it is a Maroon in color top, it is not original and has been replaced. It needs some minor stitching at the back area where the top bends when it is folded. The boot does not fit snugly, not sure why, it needs some attention
Body: It is in good shape with a small dent on front quarter panel and some oxidizing. Rust is apparent near the lower wheel well area. The chrome parts are original, and some spotty rust is apparent. It has a trailer hitch, but no wiring. The tires are in good shape. Frame is excellent.
Electronics: Most of the electronics still work like the radio, antenna, power seats, power steering and windows(although they stick a little bit) and the motor to raise and lower the convertible top works fine.
Full Disclosure: Items that I know don't work or may be considered defective are:
• Windshield wipers (need a new switch but I don't ever drive it in the rain)
• Air Conditioning (compressor seized 10 years ago but I drive with the top down so no a/c is needed anyway)
• The drivers seat has torn at the seam(s) in two places
• The door light on the passenger side is loose and needs new clips
• The boot for the top when it is down, is not cooperating upon installation, it needs some work or to be replaced.
• The convertible top at the sides needs some stitching replaced.
• Power Door Locks are there but don't work- needs attentionFront drivers seat is torn at seam. See last photo, I will send another one if you want it.
