Factory 4 speed 442 convertible with original colors of trophy blue on black with white top. The car runs and drives but only around your neighborhood. The drivetrain is out of a 70 442 and supposedly has mileage in the 70k range. Judging by the motor running pretty darn good with no tinkering and having original style alternator could be legit. This car needs the usual rust repair but the bottom of this car is extremely sound. The trunk and rear body panel are rock solid even where the trunk pan kicks up alongside the inner wheel houses. Pan has surface rust but not weak anywhere. There was a trunk mounted fuel pump so there are two quarter size holes punched thru where floor kicks up. Under the rear seat and rear floors are rock solid just surface rusted... the passenger rear floor has two screwdriver holes punched thru tho. All mentioned holes easily fixed. The front foot wells will need replaced. All floor bracing and actual frame are excellent. The seams along the bottom edge of kick panels are excellent. Rally pack car with extra nice console. There is a chunk taken out of the heel of console where is sits on skinny part of driveshaft tunnel but still super nice. Posi rear in high 3s . Can't read code cos of ladder bars but has grunt and going by manual steering and brakes must be a taller ratio. Decklid is factory drilled and super solid. Both fenders original to car and very strait just rusted in heels. Passenger door is sound and usable. Driver door has strong shell but outer corners show some swelling. Hood is 70 style ... will need to change or splice in hood lock area from often rotted 69 hood. Cowl looks strong but base of windshield has bubbling. All front end plastic in super nice shape. All in all a very buildable and not too common 442. Buy this one and restore it right from the start instead of spending 25 grand on one that's in better visible shape but needs to be redone and actually in need of all the same things this one does...I take trades on projects, bodies, used & NOS parts and factory hi-po stuff.
