This is a 1965 Sunbeam Alpine 1592cc Series IVI bought this in 2001 from an aircraft mechanic in Ft Worth and the engine wasseizedup. I had it rebuilt in June of 2001 and it runs great. I have the receipts for what was done.The previous owner got rid of any rust and undercoated /painted it with aircraft paint so as to resist rusting again. I cannot guarantee there is no rust but I do not see any.
It has new Bridgestone tires all around including the spare and I have three other rims to go with it.One of the rims is powder coated like those on the car and the spare.
I have enjoyed driving it over the years and have put about 4,000 miles on it since the rebuild. I just do not have the time anymore and my wife needs to get her car in the garage.I had many plans on doing a total restore on it but life gets in the way. I show it at the monthly car gatherings and have a lot of interest but it is not a show car yet.
