1927 Paige Hill Climb Racer Replica British Racing Green You are bidding on a very rare 1927 Paige custom built racer which was built to compete in the 1994 “Great American Race”. It was designed and built to replicate the famous Paige “hill climb racers” of the 1920’s. All of the paint is Detroit Centuari, he body is painted Jaguar British racing green, he engine and brake drums are Gimmy green and the lettering is cream colored. All driveline and chassis components are original 1927 Paige. The frame is painted black gloss and the original wheelbase has been shortened to 89 inches. A special boat tail roadster body was fabricated to replicate the historic era of hill climb racers. It is powered by a model 25-26 Paige flathead 45HP 6 cylinder engine with a three speed manual transmission. All 4 wheels have Lockheed outside clamping hydraulic brakes and 20” wood spoke wheels. The body is still wearing the lettering from the 1994 race. It has been recently been serviced and is ready to be driven or displayed.
