Description of 1971 Other Makes |
This is an amazing custom built 1971 Honda AN600 Truck. It is in great running and driving condition. It looks and drives fantastic! The Body and chassis are in great condition with no rust, o dents and no signs of previous damage or repair. The paint is excellent and of very high quality. The chrome and glass is in great condition. The Honda logos on the sides and tail gate are under the clear coat and look fabulous. The truck conversion was extremely well done and features ausablebed and working tail gate. The interior is also very nice. The racing style seats are comfortable and despite the trucks overall tiny size there is plenty of room in the cab tooaccommodateeven very tall drivers. the carpets, eadliner, oor panels and dash are all in good shape. The tach and speedo both work although I think they both read a bit high. It has a working fuel gauge (not sure how accurate it is). The electrics are 12v and it has a modern alternator for charging. The lights all work. It has Minilite wheels in great condition and the tires are excellent. The engine was rebuilt at the same time the truck conversion was done. It's quite fast by microcar standards and for being only a 600cc air cooled twin it is amazingly capable. It caneasilydo freeway speeds and is quite normal to drive. The original belt driven fan has been replaced with a high volume electric fan. It has a custom sportysoundingexhaust. It does not have heat exchangers for cabin heat or defrost. The brakes work great (discs in front drums in back) The clutch is perfect and the 4 speed full synchro gearbox shifts great through all gears. The steering is perfect and the suspension is firm and sporty but comfortable. Overall this truck is in great condition and is very usable as is. It has a clear Washington state title and is currently licensed as a collector vehicle. It comes with an original owners manual. It's not perfect and some areas could be better. There is some very minor cracks in the paint under the tailgate on the left side. There is no horn or dash indicator lamps (for turn signals, hraging etc.) It leaks a little gear oil around one of the axle outlets, wo new seals are included in this auction. This is a sure bet show winner and gets lots of attention wherever it goes. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and arrangements. I highly recommend and encourage a personal inspection if possible. The Honda can be viewed by appointment in Granite Falls, A (near Seattle) I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
