1955 Ford Thunderbird Roadster. Restored 1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible finished in '56 Golden Glow Yellow with coordinated removable Colonial White porthole hardtop with new headliner plus beautiful two-tone Yellow and White Thunderbird interior. Correct 312ci (225 hp) "Y Block" v8 engine with 4-barrell rebuilt carburetor plus 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It has a coil spring front suspension with leaf-sprung live rear axle. This T-Bird was one of 3,151 first year units manufactured.

Other unique features of this T-Bird are rear fender skirts, eautiful re-chromed front and rear bumpers, riginal aluminum valve covers, onverted 6 to a modern 12 volt system, ew chrome air cleaner, ew chrome oil filler cap, ew upper and lower steel fan shrouds, ew 6-blade heavy-duty fan, ew wheel cylinders, new drums and brakes, ew front hub and drum, ew correct fuel pump, ew shift lever, oot and shift knob, ew thermostat, ounting kit and water outlet hose, ew chrome threshold plates, ew rearview and side view mirrors, ew ignition wire set, ew plugs and distributor cap, ew heater motor switch plus new trunk mat and radio antenna. It has 4 correct FoMoCo wire hubcaps with steel-belted wide whitewall tires and chrome doughnut exhaust rings.

This '55 T-Bird is a very well-preserved example of the classic American roadster. It has the highly desirable factory porthole windowed hardtop. The restoration was undertaken with an eye to keeping this T-Bird as close to the way it rolled off the assembly line. The body boasts correct panels, aps and fit with an eye toward originality throughout. This interior is expertly restored and presents extremely well with finishings, auges, nobs, nd controls all in great condition.
