Description of 1971 International Harvester Scout SCOUT II

This is an old used Scout II International Harvester IHC 1971 Station Wagon which was modified to a truck type Snow Plow Vehicle. The rear was shortened and "paved". She has a rugged snow plow of 6 foot and 6 inches installed which is controlled by an inside lever as pictured and is the hydraulic type. The truck has served as a plow truck in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan only and little concern was given to any street worthiness. It started as a project with lots of intention but became very overwhelming and way to intense for me as I am not a mechanic. It could make a great project for someone with mechanical experience and know-how and could be a really cool machine. You could convert it to a truggy as well and sell the plow. Lot's of possibility for the enthusiast!
This is absolutely sold as/is and where is. I need a day notice before you show up for viewing or pickup.
In my opinion this vehicle needs to be transported to your garage on a trailer! I am disabled and there is nobody here to help with this. It is all you!

I will list the good and bad as what I have been informed about her but do not guarantee any of it.
This was given to me a long time ago by a friend in return for computer work.
The Good:
Cool, nique!
Clear Title.
Motor turns and starts.
Has fuel pump which works great. (manual switch on dash)
Has fairly good threads on the tires but two to need new valves/repair.
Wipers work but need blades.
6',6" Snow Plow (really solid heavy duty stuff and worked when I got her but hasn't been used for two years. Believed to be a "Western" Plow)
Window cranks work.
Battery is good
Windows are good.
Head lamps have eyes :)
Unique Instrument panel (Only what you need!)
The Bad!
Rocker Panels have lots of rust
Seats are not pretty at all.
Engine leaks a bit of oil.
Fuel Tank is a Gas Can (but a good one :)
Heater works only when it wants
Two flat tires (Seems to be bad valves)
Unknown Mileage, o speedometer.
No speedometer.
The UGLY:
Needs a new clutch and brakes
No rear suspension!
It's a project and needs lots of TLC!!!
