Description of 1980 Other Makes 3500 |
This may be the nicest Rover SD1 in the country. The dash is not discolored or cracked and is original. The headliner has been redone as well as the seats and door panels. I had the door panels done in vinyl like the European cars because the cloth deteriorated quickly and does not hold up. The rear tray is not broken as well. A very low mileage car. For many years I owned and operated a business called ROVER PARTS UNLIMITED based in Hoopa CA. I only sold parts for Rover cars. I have owned every Rover car from the P3 to the SD1. Included with This SD1 will be whatever NOS parts I have. too many to list here. Also included is another SD1 with European headlamps. It is white and ran a number of years ago but was parked after being hit in the rear quarter panel. Although I love the Rover car it doesn't get driven enough. There were only 1200 of these cars ever imported in the USA. Not many survive today. It always turned heads when driven. I have always had a SD1 since meeting my wife the day she bought one in 1982 from British Motors in Monterey Ca.I don't see these cars come on the market very often.None I have ever seen are in this good of shape. NO RUST. California garaged car. |
