It is time to sell my latest project. 1965 Bug. I purchased this car 2 years ago from a guy getting married. He said that his new wife was not on board with a hobby and he needed the money for a ring. When I purchased it had a beautiful paint job, new tires and wheels, new headliner, new seat covers. It had no rust, no engine, and a transmission with quick ratio gearing( I changed to a new stock one). I liked it because the paint was beautiful. The car has been completed about 4 months and it has 1,088 miles on it. The engine is strong and it shifts good. Stereo is loud and sounds good. Everything works.
Good on this car:New paint, chrome, running boards, new window seals, pop out windows, good glass, new headliner, new seat covers, 4 new seat belts, new carpet in the car and the trunk, new turn signal, re-built speedo set at "0", new steering wheel, new wheels and tires, new 1600cc engine built by the Bug Stop in Arlington, new engine bay tar boards, new stock transmission, adjustable front beam, new front and rear wheel bearings, new shifter, new radio and speakers, custom front speaker pods and new rear speaker deck, clean and sealed gas tank, new master brake cylinder, new wheel brake cylinders, new rubber brake lines, new complete wiring harness, new fuse bar, new battery, new glove box, new jack, converted to 12 volt. Bad on this car:2 small tears on the drivers seat under the seat back.small dent on the driver side rear wheel.see photos
