Description of 1966 Other Makes Tiger Tiger

1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mark I You are bidding on a “barn find” 1966 Sunbeam Tiger. She IS in the Tiger registry. The numbers are as follows: Chassis 582002390LRXFE Engine 6944 Color 39 Tag on firewall JAL 662396 (pics of all attached) Largely original. the car is in need of a restoration. The value of Tiger’s has been steadily increasing – as Carol Shelby was responsible for its desirability. If you are viewing this car. you know that. Being a Mark I she possesses a #s matching 260 cubic inch Ford V8. The motor is free and kicked off with starting fluid – however. without dropping and cleaning the gas tank. we wouldn’t allow for more than that. We also did not connect the radiator. A radiator is cheap to re-core and I would always do that on a restoration. I’m no Tiger expert. but bought her to restore – however started a 1969 Jaguar XKE first – and she is taking all of our time and money. So. the Tiger must go – which I’ll probably regret. Latest auction results demonstrate my point about desirability; RM Auction 2013 - $96. 50. 2014 Auctions America- $110. 00. Nothing yet that I could ascertain for 2015 but expect an increase this year. This is a six figure car restored properly. The upside is huge. Here is a chance to own the next “Cobra” for much less. Luckily there are many Sunbeam parts available for the body. etc. Please notice the picture of original. period correct aftermarket rims. the convertible top. the under bumper valance and other misc. parts that make this Tiger very original and virtually complete. Also included are new bumper over-riders. extra rocker panels. etc. The hardtop is fiberglass and was an optional aftermarket item. It is included in the sale and is in good condition. Please view the pictures and ask questions via email. I’ll attempt to answer them quickly. You are free to come and inspect the car also. I will help with international shipping. She is being sold as is. where is – and there is no warranty of any type. I’ve described her to the best of my knowledge (again. I am not a Tiger expert) – so ask questions before bidding. Tigers are rare and finding one to restore is. obviously. getting more rare. I will accept Paypal for the deposit – but it is non-refundable (I’ve been burned before). The balance in the form of a wire is preferred. Title is in hand. The pictures tell the story so please study them. Thanks for bidding.
