1953 Simca Sport 9 Coupe.Very early Sport 9 Coupe. EarlyFacel built car. One of 96 produced. Has the early alloy Motor mounts, Alloy door pulls, Similar to Ferrari's and Maseratis of this vintage, Alloy Front Clip. Alloy Trunk. This car features the optional Sport Egg Crate grill, and a Floor shift 4 speed transmission. Alloy Valve cover, and extremely rare 2 piece 15" Alloy Wheels with alloy hubcaps. Engine wasdisassemble, Looks OK. See Pictures. May want tore-ring. Car wasdisassembled forrestoration, I put back together forphotographing. Straight forward, solid extremely rust free. Entire car was media blasted and then primed in etching primer. Complete except bumpers. Never had themwhenI got car. Ibought car in 1988 inArizona, very dry no rustexcept asmallamount pin sized holes in tire well & at rear.. See photos. I have never seen another set of the 15" alloy 2 piece wheels with hubcaps. Brakes have been gone through,new re-sleeved master cylinder and all new brake cylinders with braided steel lines, new pads, and turned drums. NOS Ducellier Headlight assemblies with Yellow French Bulbs. New Ducellier Voltage regulator. Very Rare Marchal Coil. New Glass NOS brakereservoir. New NOS Robergal Steering Wheel. All Glass is good. NOS Dual Outlet Exhaust. 2 hoods, 1 stock,1 vented. I just posted anothercollage, of the Alloy Simca < very cool have S and the Swallow repeating pattern, Kick panels, all the dash trim plus ashtray and the transmission tunnel cover. Original Interior side panels. NeatPatterned Pebble grain. Different Bucket Seats. Straightforward restoration. And worthwhile. Titled as a 1960. Will Help with Transport and Export. |
