1967 Chevelle SS convertible clone. When I listed a week ago this I had 5998 views and 88 watchers but it did not sell. Blue, blue interior,white top. Manual trans steering column and pedals. Previous owner did a fairly complete SS conversion back in 1993. HasSS badges inside and out. 12 bolt rear, front disc brakes,power steering,power top,old Sunpro gauges and tach,original radio,crappy steering wheel but it was cool 25 years ago.I have an original blue wheel with a very nice chrome horn assembly. The previous owner removed the engine and trans before I got the car. These were not matching numbers pieces though so no biggie . Body is not that bad except for left quarter that was replaced in 1992 and rusted in a straight line down the welded seam where the quarter was attached. Needs new left quarter.The SS hood is rusted through, but has original inserts.Frame needs repair or replace. Front inner wheel wells are rusty. I believe most of the rust issues were probably caused by the car being covered with a plastic tarp for years.The right quarte, which is original, only needs patching.Front fenders and doors are decent again needing lower patches. All of the trunk channels are super nice. The floor needs patching both in the trunk and the interior floors. Good chance it will need a new top. Front grill and all trim on the front and rear is all excellent. Bumpers are aftermarket and rusty. This car was restored in 1992 then driven 1536 miles and parked, in 1993. I was told it was something to do with the headers. You can see rusty cutoff big block headers is still in the car as are the big block motor mounts.It comes with 4 15" Pontiac Rally IIs and brand new tires still showing the little fuzzy pieces that show absolutely no miles. But they are 25 years old and would be for show only. Wheels need to be repainted.The wheels that are in the pictures have a weird offset that allows the car to fit on the trailer. You can choose from the very nice blue bench interior shown in the car or black correct 67 buckets and a black rear seat, both should be recovered.I'm selling this because I have too many projects. You will understand when you pick up the car. Overall the car is not bad for a convertible sitting so long. If you buy the car at the buy it now price a blasted and powder coated fram, new Goodmark left and right front fenders and a Goodmark left door skin are included. These parts are not included unless the buy it now is used.I have over $3000.00 in the frame alone. I have another frame in the same condition as the one pictured except not blasted and coated,if you win the car without the buy it now you can purchase this uncoated frame and have it done in any color you choose. $500.00 non refundable deposit at the end of the auction.
