1953 Studebaker commander Regal Starliner HD coupe

This is a Studebaker Commander Regal Starliner hard top coupe aka "the Loewy Coupe". One of only 500 of this model still in use.The car is in excellent mechanical condition.The previous owner installed a Studebaker 259 cu. in. V8 engine with matching automatic transmission.I have installed electronic ignition system with high output coil, distributor, new plugs and wires.Stainless steel exhaust system. New brake drums, wheel cylinders and shoes.Radial wide white wall tires. Upgrades to 6-12 volt conversion.New starter, new gas tank.This is an older restoration with a repaint done prior to my owning the car.This car has a few blemishes inside and out.But it is a solid boulevard cruiser and very comfortable driver. It is a head turner wherever it goes.This is a very rare car that is available now for Fall Cruising.
