This1950 Packard Victoria Convertible is a rare survivor of the golden age of luxury automobiles. This beautiful car has been garaged since i bought and restored it in 2003. It originally came from California and to the delight of my painter had no rust. It still has original floor pans and trunk pan in great shape. New features include water pump, radiator rebuild, ebuilt ultramatic transmission that shifts smoothly, ebuilt brakes and master cylinder. New hydraulic pump for windows and top with new cylinders in each window and two for top. Top switch still needs to be taken out and the old gelled fluid needs to be removed. Then it should work fine. Paint is beautiful but has a few little places that my painter says can be buffed out. The only bad is where the driver door needs adjustment and rubbed a little on the door corner. Horn works but turn signals stopped. Wide whitewalls were new in 2003 also. New interior door panels and carpet. Top and back glass were also replaced in 2003. Bumpers have been re-chromed. All glass is good with no cracks. This car runs beautifully. The mileage is correct and the engine is strong although these beauties don't move so fast! I drive it around the block every month It is probably overall the nicest one of these models I have ever seen. It is first time offered and I want to see it go to a good home.
