Description of 1967 Ford Mustang 2 dr coupe |
Origional paint. that needs stripping. included is 2 6cyl engines one is the origional 200cu in the other a 1973 250cu in. beefed up with eagle pistons rods and a mild cam. This car was an origional project I had years ago. in the middle of it I found a GT in Arizona and decided to transfer the interior over to it and finish the GT. This coupe has power brakes although they are 4 wheel drum. new rims. the tires are no good buy now from age. The headliner is done. the floor pans are done. new carpet is still good and the dash gauge bezels etc are done. The grill pieces and the trims removed are in the back seat area. The seats you see are GT seats that came from the other car. The frames are good but will need upholstery. The body is solid. the C4 is good no issues. the rear end had a noise in it but ran with no problems. The 250 block was new and has never been in the car. its still on the pallet it was shipped on. the 200cu in has a hole in #1 cylinder but the rest had a fresh rebuild and a previous owner had put the wrong bolt in the thermostat housing which punctured the cylinder. They repaired it with JB weld in the water jacket leaving the bolt in place. When I honed the cylinders I thinned the weld and I put the correct bolt back in. This caused the 1/4 in diameter whole in the cylinder. Exhaust is new from engine to tailpipe. What needs to be done?strip and paint. replace some trim. put new motor in. change rear end to a ford 9 in. . ecover the seats. buy 4 new tires. put on a new dashboard cover to match seats and drive the heck out of it. |
