1968 Ford Fairlane 500 . 4 door sedan. Named the Rescue None . Has new motor new rebuilt (AAMCO) c4 transmission . 2 bl holly. ac and power steering parts but not attached. Smooth riding old car. set up and painted as Fire Chief Parade car . Has bubble top light ( removable. agnet) siren. ahooga horn. utside speakers. has center control panel console for lights. horns and water and sound. Not a Hot Rod but a Cruiser . Has pusher fan with manual switch for when there is slow hot traffic. Has been seen at last 13 Crusin the Coast events. Fire truck sprays three ways left right and Front guns sprays for over 22 mins. two firefighters ( Neal & Bob ) on back 1/4 panels have USA flags . Neal is on a wind shield wiper motor so when activated he waves his flag both fire fighters spray water too. Was painted two years ago with Dupont Chroma-Premiere and dupont clear. what little rust was sand blasted treated. body is straight and clean. Great Fun smooth riding car . I drive to work and lunch twice a week . I get more waves toots and pics of the Rescue None then the finest hot rods out there. Time for some new to enjoy her . |
