Description of 1967 Plymouth Satellite |
Selling my 1967 Plymouth Satellite factory 383 "Commando" 4 speed car. Car is daily driven. Retains original 4 speed and 8.75 rear. Unfortunately, font>original 383 is gone. Now has a 360. I do have a 440 available for a lil extra with either 906, 51, r 516 heads if you wish. Will need gone thru though. Running when pulled but has been sitting for quite sometime. As of this moment I also have a line on a '67 383 HP (steel crank, 15 heads, omplete minus intake and carb I believe) out of a Charger I believe. I can put interested buyer in contact with owner. This car is 1 of about 1493 made (give or take). Not breaking it down as far as options and colors, ust in general how many 383 HP 4 speed Satellites (all body styles) were produced for the 1967 model year. Unknown how many are left. Have $5000+ dollars in receipts from previous owners dating back to 2005. Some of the previous work done (shown by receipts) is SSBC manual front disc conversion. Subframe connectors, riveshaft loop. PST front end kit. Rear axle rebuilt. Legendary front seat upholstery, SD 6AL and Mopar Billet Distributor. Frame repair caps and rear valence, ear brakes, tc etc. Can scan copies if interested, ot maybe 10-15 pages of stuff.Car was originally Dark Blue Poly, 83 HP 4Bbl, -833 4 speed with buckets and console, nd 8.75 rear with Sure Grip. Power steering. As mentioned, riginal 383 and console are long gone. Has a 360 in it now with 340 intake and Edelbrock 650cfm carb. Fender tag and VIN plate still present. Clear title in my name. Mileage is original. Car has rust!! Will need drivers quarter and both rockers at the very least. Bumpers aren't the greatest. Also half a trunk pan. New floors installed in 2005, ut were poorly done. New floors were welded on top of what was left of the old. Still solid and functional, ust ugly. Passenger quarter also patched, ut not very well, ust some patch metal and bondo. Drivers rear frame rail patched at same time, gly but functional. Only rust on frame is about a 2" hole just aft of bumper bracket where it bolts to frame. Have all exterior trim and emblems, long with a couple extra 'Satellite' fender scripts and quarter window glass trim. Interior is fair. Seats look great though!!Cannot stress enough, ven tho car runs and drives and I drive it often, t is 48 years old and shows the wear a big block 4 speed car would. Car is a project and will need work but runs and drives pretty good, ill grab 2nd :D Track and race winner stickers attest to what was likely a rough life. But Mopars never die!! I simply just don't have the funds now to do this car right. Any questions, ust shoot me an email. Reserve the right to end listing early as I also have listed locally. Car is sold as is. |
