We have Original Build shee, ericard, ericard holder is intact, riginal plastic Owners Manual Cover, wners Manual, dvertising for Chrysler Air Temp AC, hrysler Boat motors etc. You will see in Pics where Original Owner kept up with service at Holly Motor Company in Tyler Texas. Inside glove box is stamped card for writing in Tire Rotations and Original Owner used it.
I found this car under an awning at a deserted home- Found owner and bought car. History: Original Owner sold car to man I bought it from- He was going to restore it for wife but, he didn't like it so- it sat under carport/awning for many years. This car shows less that 42k on milage Car: I checked engine for being free and- With a little fuel - she cranked. From there: Changed all fluids, ebuilt Carb, ebuilt brake system, ew thermosta, uel Pump, oints, lugs, ondenser, ap, otor, ires, eplaced all bulbs, leaned sockets, rounds, epaired wires where corroded/broken. Changed tranny fluid, ilter, ear end fluid, ew post fluid additive etc, tc. This is a factory 383 4 barrel car- AFB Carb, 27 Automatic, 3/4 rear end, 23 gears. Engine holds 50 lbs oil pressure and 20 inches of vacuum at idle- thats amazing for a 50 year old engine! Does not smoke at idle, t speed or full throttle . Transmission shifts well, nd pan didn't have much band/clutch trash in it. Car drives well, ost front end parts are original ( boots cracked/rotte, ut original). This is a numbers correct ca, cannot certify milage but, bserved parts wear indicate this is indeed a low milage car. Air conditioning: Air conditioner passed pressure test, hen vacuum test ( held for 24 hours) - at that point we installed fresh Schrader Valve, ulled a vacuum again to remove moisture and filled with freon- Air Conditioning works well and produces 35 degree air at idle and fan on low. This car has all chrome and stainless trim- all trim is intact both exterior and interior. Interior chrome and stainless is 95% number 1 condition, % #2 ( just needs polishing compounds , % # 3 ( needs re-chromed ) Exterior: Chrome has a patina to it, ome needs re=chrome, ome needs nothing but polish. All Stainless intact, ome needs work on trim dolly. Bumpers need straightened and Re-chrome. Again- every single piece is there. Yes, ome rust in rear quarters, loor pans solid, nder car solid. Did have to replace rear shocks, ut kept originals. This is a fully intact, on-restored 1966 special option car-The clock even works! It's not perfect, ts original, t's 50 years old, t's incredible. I have driven it to local car show, ot as much attention as any car there. Perfect car for frame- off restoration, rame- on restoration or just drive and fix as you go along. Just too nice a car for me to street-rod etc. To many cars in project stable for us to keep, hough we have wrestled with letting her go.
