1977 Plymouth Grand Fury Colorado State Patrol Police Car Special Order 440

Up for auction isa an original ex-Colorado State Patrol Police car. This is 1977Plymouth Grand Fury with a Special Order 440 plant with a 4 barrel carb, reinforced frame and a HD 727transmission &transmission cooler.

This car waspurchased fromthe Colorado State Patrol in about 1981 and parked where it remained inthe same place since 1981. The car is inoriginal condition, it has not been clean or or otherwise tampered with. The engine turns over and sputters when I feed gas or starter fluid thought the carb. It's gotminor denting down the driver side, flat tiresbroken front windshield. If your a Police Caraficionado you probably understand this is a rare car as are all original 1970s Police Cars. The car has all of theheavy duty police package options and specificationsexpected with aspecial order package. Dual exhaust, 85 amp alternator, heavy duty brakes, 3.23 posi-traction 9.25 rear axle, 7” steel rims with dog dish hub caps,antiroll bar, dual snorkel air cleaner. The police package also includes rubber flooring, 140 MPH“certified”speedometer, dual oil & temp gauge, single key option (ignition, doors & trunk) hand throttle, prisoner rear door locks, driver and passenger A-pillar mounted spotlight lights
