Description of 1977 Plymouth Fury Gran Fury |
This is a 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury Montana Highway Patrol U-Code 440 car. It is a real legitPK41 police package car and the last ofan era. The Gran Fury was the last of the full size 440 Magnum powered police package cars; 78 they went to the mid size B-Body platform. Saved this from a wreckingyard in Montana and want to see this go to a good home who will restore it. The car still has the numbers matching engine and transmission as well. When we got it the car has been sitting for a few years but we got it running and driving. We pulled the gas tank and cleaned it out so it runs off the tank now. The only real problem with the car is somebody punched out the ignition lock so it will need some wiring work. We have a new column to put in the car to fix it. The previous owner also converted it from lean burn to electronic ignition and some of the wiring will need to be sorted. We are running it off a stand alone ECU now and it runs great. The Plymouth lived in Montana it's whole life so it is super solid. We took a bunch of underside shots so please look at them closely. The interior is complete and the car will need at least front seatcovers. I love old cop cars but found a 73 Polara Washington State Patrol car just after I bought this one so it needs to find a good home. Please e-mail us to set up an appointment to see the car. Feel free to ask any questions about the car.Contactmeif you want to call with questions, eBay won't let us put the number in the auction anymore. The car is located in Olympia, Washington, which is about an hoursouth of Seattle, Washington and an hour and a half north of Portland, Oregon right off I5. Every effort has been made to make an accurate description of this car, but some things were probably missed. This is a fantastic running driving car but will need some love. We accept Money Orders, Cashier's Check, or Wire Transfer. A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit must be made within 48 hours of the auction ending. Payment must be made withinseven days of the auction finishing. The car must be either shipped or picked up within thirty days of the auction finishing. We reserve the right to end the auction and cancel bids at any time as the car is for sale locally. We have shipped lots of cars around the country and it's less than you think it is to ship.We have used a broker a few times to ship cars that we really trust so please contact us for his number. He makes the process super easy and can send it anywhere in the US (or even Internationally!). It's currently about $1200-$1500 to ship to the East Coast from Washington. If you are closer it would of course be cheaper. Here is a video of the car running: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9QPxbnjL9M. |
