Description of 1984 Plymouth Other Hatchback |
When is the last time you saw one of these in this condition? I am the third owner of this 1984 Plymouth Horizon Hatchback with good running reliable 2.2 engine, engine has a low pitch whine I never thought much about it, asn't gotten any worse or affected the performance) tight shifting automatic transmission, ower steering, ower disc brakes stop on a dime, ir conditioning needs work, riginal am/fm radio with cassette works well.. The car has been well maintained with many recent services and repairs including new timing belt, ew brakes and rotors, lectric fuel pump, lternator, arburetor rebuilt, ew vacuum lines and new muffler. The a/c was charged this summer with R134 but is currently not working. Diagnosed as the expansion valve stuck. I have a new expansion valve, ccumulator drier and compressor in the box that goes with the car. Note: The existing compressor works but I decided to buy an brand new one anyway. If the buyer does not want these parts I will knock $300 off the selling price. The body is solid with the original Dark Blue paint. No body rust or bondo ever. There are a few scratches on the paint but no dents. The interior is very good with no rips or odors. Also the headliner is missing but the foam insulation is still there. Not a big deal. White sidewall tries about half tread. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. I will report nonpaying bidders to eBay. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for looking. |
