Air Conditioning upgraded to 134a with new Vintage Air Sanden compressor, lines, drier, etc. New2014 –2015: New 4 BBL Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, new four row aluminum radiator, new high output alternator, Bosch fuel pump, new brakes, orange ignition module, new water pump, new belts, new radiator and heater hoses, new thermostat, new Bosch Platinum plugs, new spark plug wires. Recently serviced 727 automatic transmission Dana rear axle recently serviced. Late model (1978) starter relay for full voltage starts. Delco air shocks, 2" Class III hitch receiver (Towed a '70 Cuda to occasional shows and drag race events) Engine 99% leak free, Transmission 99% leak free Tires have 97% tread life left.This Sport Suburban has never seen a winter. All electrics work except dome light. Exceptionally clean early 1970’s C-Body example Original window sticker and a deep pile of service records included. Now the bads: Right front Cragar mag is slightly bent and induces mild vibration at 65-70 mph (Steel 15" rims and perfect oem hubcaps included) Stitching on driver's side front seat coming loose (See photo) Fuel door has small dent Tailgate has small dent (See photo) Only rust on entire car is a 1" x 2" bulge on rear of driver's side rocker panel below wheel arch dog leg (See photo) Dome lights stopped working. Trim has a few dents. Speedometer bounces 5 mph either way from 15 - 45 mph Some fine scratches on roof Third row foot well carpet a little tatty Pin hole leak in steel transmission cooling line (I plan on replacing the line) Once the cooling line leak is fixed I'd drive it cross country with no worries. My Road Runner went in for warranty service the week of my senior prom so Dad let me borrow The (new) Wagon... Still have my prom date and The Wagon. We took this wagon to an Alice Cooper show later that week. Mom and Dad toured the Rockies in it and watched sunsets from South Mountain in Phoenix in it...Gonna miss the old girl....
