1974 Plymouth Barracuda “Cuda Tribute”. this Cuda is a one of a kind creation which started off as a 318 car. It has since been transformed into a street pounding machine. This Cuda is finished in Moulin Rouge (Panther Pink) with a black interior and black “hockey stick” stripe. The motor for this car is now a 440 cubic inch with a 6 pack utilizing Holley carburetors sourced from a 1969 Road Runner. This car was originally from New Mexico so the underside as seen in the pictures is very nice and solid. The exterior of the car presents very well with great shine from the paint and chrome. The interior would benefit with a new carpet set and a stereo to fill the void in the dash. This motor now has such features as aluminum heads from 440 Source; the compression is 9. 5:1. Comp Cams custom grind thumper style –roller hydraulic cam. Comp Cams pro-magnum lifers. Custom Smith Bros push rods and 440 Source aluminum adjustable roller rockers. These are only a few of the many upgrades. The car also features two Mallory electric fuel pumps with tank sump. master brake vacuum pump. Summit street/strip multi spark capacitive discharge ignition. Mallory Promaster coil and Mallory unilite distributor. The front end has a rebuilt Hemi 440-6 K-frame with firm feel reinforcement plates. skid plate. reinforced and boxed lower control arms with grease able lower control arm pins. poly bushings and Firm Feel 1-1/4” sway bar with poly bushings. The rear-end is a DTS Custom Dana 60 – 9-3/4” with 35 spline axles. 3. 54 gears. true trac posi – 7290 yoke. 11” power disc brakes. adjustable pinion snubber and 7 leaf Mancini super stock springs. There are welded frame connectors to keep this machine heading in the right direction. The 727 B&M automatic transmission is SFI approved with steel flex plate. TCI-11 inch breakaway 2600/2800 stall converter. TCI full manual valve bodies. TCI aluminum pan and transmission cooler. This Cuda also features a stainless steel exhaust. chrome wheels with BF Goodrich tires on the front and Mickey Thompson’s on the rear.
