Description of 1960 Plymouth Other |
I bought this 1960 Plymouth Savoy 4 door Sedan from the original owner. It was purchased from Poe Motors in North Little Rock. rkansas on 12/9/1959. I have the Original Title. Window Sticker. and Sales Invoice to this car. This car was wrecked in the 1st year that the original owner owned it. The front cap was replaced with a 1960 Fury front cap. The car was not damaged structurally. When I bought it I replace the wheel cyl's. brake shoes. brake hoses. brake master cyl. water hoses. water pump. radiator rebuilt. carburator rebuilt. as tank replaced. all rubber fuel lines. spark plugs . plug wires. alt. belt. I'm sure I've left out something but you can tell I replaced or rebuilt a lot on this car. The Original Owner when I bought the car claimed that It had 17k original miles. I cannot prove this. I bought 3 more cars from his estate after his death and his nephew claimed that was the original miles of this car. I DO NOT CLAIM THE MILEAGE TO BE CORRECT. It now has 23. 93 miles. The plastic on the front seat tore the fabric on the front seat. I removed the rubber floor mats that were deteriorating from the car to inspect for rust holes. There are a couple of small holes on the drivers side. They are smaller than a dime. The lip under the trunk weather strip rubber has rust holes and needs attention. The trunk pan is solid with no holes. The gas gauge works off and on. The heater core has been by passed because it has a small leak. The head light switch needs the contacts cleaned because they go off and on. I have driven this car at Hi-way speeds from Little Rock AR. to Louisville. Y 5 yrs ago to the 75th anniversary of the AACA car club convention. I had to replace the fan belt on the way home but the car ran like a new one. This Slant 6 with the 3 speed manual shift transmission starts right up and drives with no issues except for the ones that I've discussed. Dare to be different and drive the Last Year for FINS from Virgil Exner. Please call me with any questions. 501- six two six- zero zero six seven. I have downloaded the Maximum number of pictures. THIS CAR IS SOLD "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTY IMPLIED OR EXPRESSED. THERE IS A $500. 00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE WITH 24 HOURS AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS. THE BALANCE IS DUE WITHIN 72 HOURS AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS BY CASH OR WIRE TRANSFER. THIS CAR DOES NOT GO ANYWHERE UNTIL ALL PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. |
