Description of 1966 Plymouth Barracuda |
Unrestored 1966 Barracuda for sale. Very good driver condition. and no rust issues to be found. Everything works. even the under dash lamp. Purchased new in Yamhill County Oregon from Meyer Brothers Chrysler Plymouth and never left the area. The engine was replaced at the dealership in late 1980 or early 1981 for causes unknown. It was parked in 1985 (under cover) and purchased by a local business owner in 2008. New carpets. seat covers. tires. exhaust. and a new battery were installed at that time. It was then traded in a car deal to one of the current owners. The clean Oregon title has been transferred to just one owner. Here is what I know about the car. The odometer was replaced on July 27. 1973 with 69. 60 miles on it. Current mileage is 64. 72. for a total of 134. 32. There is a vibration at about 45-60 MPH. The drive line may need to be balanced. CertiCard is still with the car. as is the owners manual. Oil and antifreeze were changed in the fall of 2014. The points distributor was replaced at some point with the Chrysler electronic ignition. In 2015. the carb was overhauled. and the trans mount and valve cover gaskets were replaced. The block number is 2806030-273 with a date code of 11-1-0. There is also a 273 stamped into the front of the block under the drivers head. The heads have a date code of 07074 which appear to be Dec. 9. 1980. It does have a 3 speed 904 automatic with the factory console and shifter. Runs and drives well. straight body. no rust found. Open for inspection by appointment. I will ship overseas but buyer must make all arrangements. Feel free to ask any questions and good luck! |
