Description of 1967 Plymouth Other |
I am selling my newly built, 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II. It has a good sounding 440 Magnum V8, backed by a 727 Torqueflite transmission. This car is a blast, it runs and drives great and fun to cruise around town or jump on the highway for a trip. I put some time into detailing this car and gave it a classic Mopar Muscle look with a modern twist. It now sits lower then stock on new 17 inch US Mags that look similar to a Magnum 500. The vinyl top is new and in great shape. This car is great for cruising to a car show/cruise night and have something people feel obligated to come look at. All the trim is original and polished back to look new. I got done building this car about a year ago and have had lots of fun driving it. During rebuild I was very pleased with the body after disassembly and blasting it to find out the car was pretty solid. The floors, wheel houses, quarter panels and everything else is all original. The only rust it had was right above rear wheel well and lower fender. I have pictures showing the new butt welded patches. With the body already being pretty straight allowed dialing in the body lines to be quick. The paint job is PPG base coat clear coat with B5 blue and satin black hood/bumpers. The engine bay, jams and trunk lock just as nice as exterior paint. The hood scoop was made fully out of metal and is actually functional to force air into the Edelbrock 750 carburetor sitting on edelbrock intake. This car has a nice head turning rumble coming from the new symmetricaldual exhaust and headers. The car is a factory 318 car but now has more of a punch from the 440 Magnum V8 that is very dependable, with plenty of power to impress the friends. Has all new Pertronix ignition, alternator, starter and electric fan. It has a smooth shifting 727 Torqueflite automatic with column shift, and a new torque converter The interior has been all redone, just about stock, with new black Year One products and a wood grain steering wheel. The dash and metal on doors have been resprayed satin black. Heater blows really warm, the A/C would work soon as there is a compressor, condenser and dryer installed. The only interior that isn't new is the arm rests and seat belt, the originals look to good for me to replace. Everything including the newer cd radio works. Windshield and rubber is new, and all the other glass was great minus the little flaw on lower part of rear passenger glass. Other than that the glass rolls up and down great with the new window felts. The door seals, trunk seals and body plugs have been replace also. |
