Description of 1968 Plymouth Barracuda |
Selling my baby. Only reason I'm selling is I want to buy another car and can't afford to keep both. It's been garage kept and mainly just driven on a little on weekends. 140xxx original miles. Flawless bright yellow paint. 340-S hood with chrome inserts. factory reproduction interior (leather seats. visors. carpet). I have (and will include in sale) the Formula S wide mouth chrome exhaust tips for the car as well as the round chrome ones currently on the car. Completely rust free!! New gas tank & fuel lines. Edelbrock 4 barrel carb (alum. High rise). K&N/ Edelbrock air cleaner. new fuel pump. Tires are almost new T/A radials. new brakes (including calipers. master and wheel cylinders. lines. seals and rotors). adjustable shocks. dual exhaust (sounds great!!!) and rebuilt radiator. Engine was recently rebuilt 340 with very low miles and a mild cam and pointless distributor. automatic transmission rebuilt same time as motor. heads rebuilt to support unleaded fuel. Aftermarket headers. it has all new weather stripping around all the glass and doors. the trunk and engine compartment are painted to match the exterior. Adjustable original Cuda wing. yellow show carpets included in sale. also an original 1968 Hemisphere license plate will go with the car if you want to use it as a show car (right now is wearing current Texas plates)Also the car has a fully functional NOS rig completely hooked up and ready to go but has never been used yet. the engine is not tuned for its use yet. The battery sits in the trunk so it is prettier as a show car. Current inspection & registration thru April/May 2015. Too much to mention you have to see it for yourself. Any questions feel free to shoot me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP. You won't find another '68 in this condition. On Feb-02-15 at 13:41:35 PST. seller added the following information:*UPDATE* at bidder's request I uploaded pictures of the undercarriage/chassis & wheel well areas and around the windows so you can see it is 100% rust free. Also more pics of interior and clear blue Texas title showing VIN (prev. owner info whited out) |
