Description of 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda |
Fusion Luxury Motors | eBay Template
The 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda offered for sale here is a beautiful example restored in its original B5- Blue Fire with black interior combination. This is a matching #'s (engine) car that underwent a full restoration in the last ten years and has been well maintained since then. It is a well-optioned example, which makes it even more rare, as most dealers chose stripped-down models to keep their inventory costs down following the poor sales of the SuperBird that year. -a 340 6 pack / 4-speed/ 3.91 Axle combo (only 6% of all AAR 'Cudas had this same setup!) -Blue Fire Metallic Paint -Black vinyl bucket seats -Full Light Package, which includes fender turn signals, trunk light, map light, glovebox light, and I/Panel flood lamp with time delay -Front Rubber Bumper Package, which includes front body-colored bumper and dual body-colored racing mirrors -Rallye Instrument Cluster -Tinted Glass -3-speed Wipers -AM Radio This car comes fully documented, including a copy of the original broadcast sheet and receipts for the recent work done on it. It is an impeccable example of a truly rare and important vehicle in American automotive racing history- don't miss your opportunity to bring it home today! Originally sold in only 1970 as the homologation model for Chrysler's efforts to compete in the SCCA Trans Am racing series, the AAR 'Cuda represented the culmination of years of development by the Chrysler team. After settling for third place in sales since the release of the Mustang and Camaro, Chrysler Corporation brought a beast to the table in 1970 by stepping up and calling in reinforcements. They tapped Dan Gurney's All American Racers to design two Trans Am spec 'Cudas for the 1970 series, and sold a grand total of 2,724 AAR 'Cudas that year, making this a very rare and valuable example. Great lease rates and Financing also available on any of our inventory!
