Time to downsize my collection. Six cars is a couple too many! Up for auction is this amazing 1956 Plymouth Suburban "surf wagon". This classic only has 68,533 miles on the odometer, which I believe to be original miles, based on mileage history of repair receipts. Vehicle is in amazing survivor condition. I found the car in the high desert town of Madras, Oregon. Original, numbers matching engine. Both front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in matching, original fabric. Repairs include re-coring the radiator, four new tires, replace belts, new battery and cables, starter solenoid, rebuilt front drum brakes, and replaced fluids. Installed new, color matching seatbelts in both front and rear seat. Passenger side has a crimp at bottom of the door where it looks they may have driven up onto a curb or rock. No frame damage. Also includes 1956 Plymouth Suburban manual and a voltage regulator, still in box. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of sale. I reserve the right to end auction early since the vehicle is available for sale locally.
