Description of 1971 Plymouth Barracuda |
SEMA 2016MOPAR SHOW CARPILOT EXPERIMENTAL AS featured in multiple episodes of Graveyard Carz, Mopar Muscle & Chrysler Power, Magazine. Also recreated in die cast by Greenlight Collectibles. The very first 392 Crate Hemi to receive the official Mopar Engine Controller as unveiled at the MOPAR booth during SEMA 2016. This car was one of the most talked about exhibits of the show. The president of MOPAR, Mr. Pietro Gorlier personally came to the shop to inspect the build and was the one to reveal it at the show at exactly 4:26 PM on the first day. This car exemplifies the best the industry has to offer. Impeccable body and paint work and all the best options you could have ordered on a 1971 'Cuda. The car has only 140 miles on it since the complete, rotisserie restoration. Drive Train includes:
Mopar Factory Features:
This car runs and drives amazingly. Tons of power under the hood but with the 6 speed and Crate Hemi it also gets great mileage. The perfect fusion of old world and new. We took a lot of painstaking steps to maintain the original appearance of a FJ6 Sassy Grass 'Cuda. From the outside this car appears stock. I've never seen another car that truly represents what a 1971 'Cuda would look like if the 392 were available back in the day. Own a piece of history and bid with confidence as it was built by one of the top restoration shops in the country. Vehicle will come with a certificate of authenticity from Graveyard Carz and The Division Productions. Winner will be flown out to meet the crew and have their picture taken with the car. The entire Graveyard Carz team will sign the inside of the trunk lid. This car started life as a 318 manual transmission. The original dash VIN is gone but the door, body numbers and title all matched. It is a licensed vehicle in the state of Oregon and comes with a clear title. The car was a very solid donor to begin with but did receive a trunk floor, bottoms of both quarters and some floor pan sections. Pictures on request. |
