Description of 1988 Plymouth Fury |
This 1988 Plymouth Gran Fury AHB was ordered by the FBI in the fall of 1987 for use in undercover surveillance on a high profile case they were working on then. It was used for about 18 months and retired to Quantico in storage where it remained until 2009 or so. This car runs and drives great and is in outstanding condition. It comes with full wheel covers as well as the hubcaps as they changed the look of the car often during use. Battery is new and the AC was topped off with R12 by me. It still had nearly all of the original charge. The tires are nearly 100% tread. All original parts remain on the car, exhaust, shocks, etc. Was converted from Electronic Spark Control with a Mopar Performance ignition kit. Engine and 727 HD transmission are smooth and quiet. I have all the documentation back to the US Govt and copy of original title. The title was washed by the FBI so the car did not come back to them, meaning it was registered to a front company. A practically NEW car that rides and drives like a new car. Outstanding chrome, trim, emblems and glass. Paint is perfect 10/10. I can supply more pictures or answer any questions. Call my cell at (216) 219-6666 until 12am est. Not much to add other than it's basically a new car. Would be a perfect movie set car with no work. It's in the trunk. I just didn't re-install it. Also, I have a set of the full wheel covers that come with the car. They used the cover or caps to periodically change the look of the car. I also have a very very nice set of the slotted heavy duty wheels that I intended to install but never got around to. I'd be willing to work out something if the buyer wanted those. This car has every part it was built with and more. |
