1970 Plymouth Barracuda project a true time capsule been sitting parked in a garage since 1981 for 34 straight years! Original 383 threw a rod and the owner removed the engine and parked it in 1981 where it sat. Till it was removed 5 years ago when it was sold to the gentlemen that I purchased the car from. He put together the current 1969 383 and rebuilt 727 that's in it now and used the car for occasional short drives around town. Factory L code 383 big block 727 automatic column shift with 8 3/4 rear axle. Fender tag is loaded with options including factory A/C, cruise control, leather front buckets, overhead console, power disc brakes, power steering, fender mounted turn signals, etc. Basically has the options of a BP Gran Coupe car but its a BH barracuda. Rare FT6 burnt metallic tan exterior with one repaint and tan interior. Only 2 small cracks in the original dash upfront by the speaker that are barely visible! I've never seen an original E body dash pad in this nice of condition! Mint inside floors, cowl, rockers, inner fenders by hinges etc. Has a tear on the passengers side door down low from a jack mishap. Left rear corner of quarter has a small whammy that could easily be fixed. Rear quarters and trunk extensions rock solid otherwise. Has some spots of rust around rear window and one spot on upper edge of front window would only need small patches. Trunk center has one large hole and one small hole could be patched or replaced for a show car. Car has a low mileage strong running 1969 383 with fresh rebuilt heads, new double roller timing chain, and new mild cam with a nice lope at idle. Not the original matching numbers motor. The 727 automatic is rebuilt with a new torque converter and shift kit. Currently a turn key running and driving car. All lights, turn signals, brake lights, and gauges work. Cruises down the road at 70MPH no problem! Call Dean at (530)953-6092 and I will be glad to answer any and all questions you may have.
