I am selling my 1970 Roadrunner. This 1970 Roadrunner is for sale at ABSOLUTE - NO RESERVE auction, and will sell. This Roadrunner is a genuine RM21 coupe. The pictures are self explanatory – it is a very nice car. I’m moving and won’t have any garage space to keep it. This is a complete car, is not a numbers matching car, is period correct. Many parts are not original, including drive train & seats. Engine is a 440 cu. In. – 4 barrel carburetor, pistol grip 4-speed manual. The car starts right up, idles nicely, and shifts nicely through all 4 speeds. Exterior is FJ5 limelight, Interior is X9 black. Frame, chassis, pans are solid, no rust. I have owned Roadrunners over last 50 years, this one for last 6 years. I only drive it back and forth to & from local shows. The car gets a lot of attention and has been awarded several trophies. Starting bid is set at the original MSRP $3,501. If you have been looking and frustrated by high reserve prices, this may be a great opportunity. The title is free and clear, and both the car and clear title are in New Jersey. Transportation to its new home is the responsibility of the buyer – car can be driven. This car is 53 years old and as such, is sold as is, with no warranties. Winning bidder shall provide non-refundable deposit at auction end. Winning bidder shall provide wire transfer for remainder of winning bid within 7 days. This absolute auction may be ended early by a local sale or an accepted offer. Feel free to make an offer -- any reasonable offer can be considered. Here is fender tag decoding, however, all original equipment may not be as original.
