I have up for sale is one 1971 Firebird Formula 400 that has been restored but not 100% to original specs. This car has a 428 bored .030 over block was machine, leaned, agnefluxed, decked, lates were used to keep the bore straight in the cylinders(professionals do this)not every machine shop! We used the best of everything on this motor no $$$$ was spared!!! Engine components kaufmann High Port Heads Pro form 950 race carb comp cam soild roller 51-000-13 (grind pb 412BB/ 4147b R110.0 Int .018 exh .020 .634 .631 256 264 .4230 .4210 Scorpion1.6 roller rockers mahle rings file fit north wind intake port matched! romac sfi dampner w/ alumn kre timing cover hooker headers 4202 kre oil filter housing milodon oil pan viton rear main seal billet timing chain melling oil pum 54f comp push rods pro warrior 6.625 stock replacement rods pontiac srs pistons 428 .030 arp main stud kit msd distributor 8563 may miss something but you can see all high dollar parts.. As far as the interior goes dash is out of a 77 trans am with no Cracks or any other damage! seats all recovered like stock pattern! new carpet and headliner T/a dash panel with newer style gauges racing seat belts Pro ratchet shifter trans mission: turbo 400 custom built stall converter up to 4k rpm 890.00 alone.. trans built to hold up to 800 horse sfi flex plate Rear end new posi center section new race axles new bearings and seals all professionally done! Exhaust 3 inch into x pipe to 2 1/2 out the back Tires and rims centerline convo pros 15x 10 and 15x4 m/t street strip tires front regular street tires Brakes : Gm style disc front and rear Vacum pump for brake system This car was built to beat the fastest gto in Tucson But the owner died before we could run it against it! The car has more power to give I haven't pushed it to the limits cause I don't care too!! But if the next owner wants to, he car will turn faster than an 11.72 @118 mph. This car does run on premium fuel at the pump 91 octane. I have driven this car on the free way a couple of time for short distances and it had no problems it drove great and handles excellent. I drive this across Tucson a lot and it has no problem or issues it runs @185 deg regularly in the heat of the summer might hit 190 driving 195at the light then cools right back down! This car never has a over heating problem like most Pontiac's out there! I love this car but I broke my back and need to reduce a few of my toy's.. Just the Motor and trans have about 15K invested.
