Description of 1970 Pontiac GTO |
Thanks for looking, am selling my GTO to make room in the garage, his is a RUST FREE car! The car has been undercoated to protect the under carriage and POR-15 has been painted on the inside with a layer of Dynamat sound deadener. This car will never rust! She runs and drives great its 400 engine is stamped XH, take it to work on nice days which is about 100 miles round trip with no issues. All electrical components work and extra grounds have been added to keep them nice and bright! Here is a list of new parts that have been added in the last year or so. Power Steering Pump 2 inch Dual exhaust with Chrome tips New Dash Parking lamps New Rocker Moldings New interior Door panels, ront and Back New Carpet POR-15 painted frame and floor Dynamat sound deadener Pontiac Radio Headliner Windshield wiper motor Window Windlass Front window New tires New gas tank and fuel sender All new weather stripping New Package tray Window Sweeps and Felt kits B&M Z shifter Some things that will need to be looked after when you get the chance or if want a show winner. - At high RPM the valve cover bolt hole on the driver side will ooze some oil out of it. - It needs the plastic Speedo Gear slipped into the transmission. - The kick down cable could be installed, I didn't need it but, have it if you want it on) - The windshield wipers will need to be put on, I have them and just replaced the wiper motor, 'll probably have them on by the end of the auction) - The glue on the rear sail panels could be re applied for a tighter fit - Side and rear windows have scuffs on them from use and could be polished out. (If looking to show it) This is a great price for a solid car like this. Unlike most people who sell their classic car, 'm not looking to pay off my house or retire on the price of the sale. Winters coming and I need to make room in the garage. Please feel free to contact me with any questions I may not have addressed in the description, r if you would like to see pictures of something specific. Thanks! |
