1962 Catalina Hardtop SuperDuty tribute. This car was built using the finest components, o go fast in the 1/4 mile, hile using mostly factory Super Duty parts. These parts include an NOS Nascar 421 Super Duty block (casting number 53181),Casting number 544127 1962 Super Duty heads, 770859 Super Duty intake with AFB carbs, uper Duty aluminum exhaust manifolds and splitters, eep sump SD oil pan, orrect Super Duty balancer, luminum alternator bracket, nd large alternator pulley. If you're into early Pontiacs, ou probably already know these are very valuable and difficult parts to find, nd supposedly the block was one of only a very small number that were made....a very rare and valuable block, ndeed.The engine was professionally built using the finest components, ncluding a Butler 1/2" stroker forged cran, istons, nd rods, omp Cams Roller cam and rocker, springs, tud girdles, tc. This engine was built to run hard, hich it absolutely does, nd last. This car is a factory heater delete car, nd it has the Ventura interior. Fiberglass hood, ront bumper and brackets, nner fenders, nd decklid, ere added to an already very straight and rust free car. Floorboards, runk pan, nd rockers, re all very nice and solid. Paint and chrome trim are very nice....this car looks awesome, nd turns heads everywhere you go. Includes the following components: Jericho 4 spd clutchless transmission, cloed clutch and steel flywheel, ontiac rear with Moser axles and third member built with spool by Fabtech, ine lock for front brakes, lectric fuel pump and regulator, eriod correct Sun tach, SD pro billet distributor, oil, nd ignition box with rev limiter chips, oxed rear control arms, nti sway bar, ir bags, nd custom heavy duty driveline. Car comes with M/T racing slicks on Centerline tires, nd also with a complete set of stock style wheels with dog dish caps and street tires. This car starts easily, nd drives great. It is quite streetable with the street tires and splitters corked. With the slicks installed and splitters opened up, have personally run consistent 11.80's at 119 MPH at Bremerton Motor Speedway. The car hooks up incredibly well, nd goes like a bat out of hell. Everyone at the dragstrip goes nuts over this car, nd it is often the only true Pontiac powered car in attendance. The previous owner who built the car, as able to run 11.40's at 120 mph.
