This 1939 Pontiac Quality Six is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1939 Quality line was introduced as the first entry level Pontiac would produce. After the lack luster sales in 38 they knew they were going to have do something drastic and this proved to be the trick. The 39 would go on to being a great success until the war broke out and manufacturing would come to a halt. With it only being a 3 year run and prices being very reasonable these hotrods are considered the best bargain all over again. This white beauty has every amenity a new car has and then some. Under the hood is a chromed out 350 small block crate motor that has only had a 1000 miles put into it since installed. With the side panels left off everyone can see the custom painted Pontiac valve covers just screaming out the side. Put them on and it's almost like a completely different car giving it a much more sophisticated and finished look. With the 700r4 OD transmission giving you the ability to run up on the highway this is a Street rod that can actually be taken on that long trip. With a Chevelle rear clip outback and a Nova front clip upfront the ride quality has been much improved. If wind in your hair isn't quite your thing simply hit the switch for the power windows and crank up the AC. If the ac isn't quite enough the added luxury of cruise control is a nice edition. The front buckets were recently added in place of the old bench making this rod that much more comfortable. The Street rod scene has seen resurgence in the past year especially with the moderately priced cars with all of the options. This 1939 Pontiac Quality Six Street rod options include; AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.
