There is plenty of documentation that goes with this car to include build sheet, as well professional inspection by a highly respected author of " everything you need to know Car Collecting" by Steve Linden. Mr. Linden personally inspected and advised on this car. When I purchased this car from the widowed owner, the car had not been driven after winning Gold for several years. I did so with the intention to drive, but this car should be on display and driven rarely, unless you have a lot more money than I do. If so... drive it and enjoy. When I had it trucked to my home, I had to have everything adjusted and tightened, it was a trailer queen... the only thing I added was a fuel pump... that is hidden very well, however can be easily removed, also when I purchased the car it had two small imperfections on the to, about the size of a dime each. I have chosen not to repair . I drove with top down and it did not bother me. You could have repaired at your discretion. There are not many left like this, and the older we get, the older and rarer they get, I have been selling used pickup trucks for years, you can visit needatt.com to see more pictures as well VIN 242676B120792 2 = Pontiac 42 = GTO 67 = Convertible 6 = 1966 B = Baltimore, Maryland assembly plant 1 = 8 cylinder engine 20792 = Sequential unit number Engine: 280537 YR = 389/360 Tri-Power with Automatic Transmission Cowl Tag 01C = Build date 3rd week of January ST 66 24267 66 = 1966 24267 = Pontiac GTO Convertible BODY BAL1078 = Baltimore, Maryland unit number 1078 TRIM 223 = Black PAINT 1 = Special Paint Color (As per Pontiac Historic Services) ASK ANY QUESTION YOU WANT THANK YOU . |
