1964 Pontiac Tempest 2 door post for sale in Westminster. First the good. Good running but original 326 and new TH350 Transmission. All new fuel system with new tank, sending unit, lines, Edelbrock pump, Ac Delco glass bowl Filter and Jet 2 Barrel Carburetor. All new ignition system as well with MSD Pro Billet Distributor and MSD 6AL ignition box. New Factory Tach in the dash, New aluminum radiator. Brand new CPP Disc Brake Kit on front and rebuilt drums on back. All new rubber brake lines and new hard lines on rear axle. New rear axle bearings and 3:36 gears. Open carrier, not Posi. Newer tires. New lock set waiting to be installed. Brand New factory seat covers in dark blue and carpet in box waiting to be installed. New fast ratio Steering box and all the stuff to make the conversion in box waiting to be installed. Previous owner switched dash wiring harness to spade type. Rest of car wiring is original factory. New Kick Panels with speakers built in waiting to be installed. New Hidden Radio from JBL ready to be installed, New Kenwood speakers for back deck waiting to be installed. Brand New Optima red top battery. All new rebuilt suspension with ball joints and upper and lower control arm bushings in polyurethane front and rear. Front door glass goes up and down like its supposed to. Back glass is off regulators on both sides but have good rebuilt regulators to install. All glass is useable. Now the bad. Floor boards and braces are excellent but trunk floor needs to be replaced. Drivers side quarter has about a pound of bondo in it but passenger side just needs lower patch. Usual rust bubbles here and there but nothing that you cant repair. No major body issues except the drivers side quarter panel. The interior is useable but tired. I was gonna change the color to dark blue so I have factory correct seat covers and carpet but never got around to buying the rest of the stuff. Interior is useable in the meantime. Wiper transmission is shot but I have one that comes with the car. New rebuilt wiper motor 1 speed. Turn signals work sometimes sometimes they dont, I think the switch is bad.
