I bought this from my brother 6 years ago and he had it from the 70`s and drove it once in awhile back then and then the engine stuck so it has never been driven since. The last license on it is 1972 in S.D. He poured some diesel fuel in the cylinders years ago but I tried it about a year ago and it didn't want to turn over. It has always been in a shed but the mice got in it and ate a hole in the glove box and drivers seat. Their is no holes in the headliner so I don`t think they got in there. It ran into his loader tractor and got the taillight and bent the quarter panel as shown. There is 2 taillights in the trunk but never got put in. The skirts are also in the trunk along with a bumper jack and I will find a spare tire for it. As you can see the paint is bubbling but I don`t see any rust holes anywhere including the floor pans. The carpet was shot so I took it out to see the floor pans. Apparently the yellow was repainted before he got it, and the white looks original. The glass is e-z-eye and all looks good yet and the windows all work good yet. Most of the chrome and stainless on the outside is nice yet but a lot of the pot metal and the chrome around the on the inside is pitted As you probably know the chieftaincustom catalina in 1954 was a limited production car and only came in a 2 door hardtop, most 2 door hardtops were star chiefs at that time. I have a clear title in my name. I would like to have it picked up in 30 days unless something is worked out. It will be in a shed. I have a tractor and loader and will help load as much as I can. If I am forgetting anything, or you have a question about something I forgot to mention let me know.
