" The Real Deal" 1963 Pontiac Bonneville factory 4 speed Convertible rare original unmolested with paper work ! You are a looking a very rare 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible factory 4 speed with Special Police package. Per the PHS docs it says its a 'Spec Police' model with 389 4 barrel and a factory 4 speed. Also equipped with a Posi, 8 lug wheels, and heavy duty frame. How many factory4 speed 63 Bonneville convertibles did they make ?According to PHS documents 1800 or so. The easiest way to describe the car is this. It was a 3 owner before me and I have all the old registrations and license plate. It was put up in a barn until about a year ago when an auction house pulled it out, leaned up, refreshed brakes and, replaced tires.Being a barn stored car it's a driver and not a show car. Paint is worn, interior is worn, chrome is pitted a little. But overall it's what I call a 'Patina Driver' and not $ 50,000 like a perfect one would be. Breakdown : Body -. Paint flaking off here and there you can see in the pics.Windshield is NEW. Chrome is flaking on front bumper and minor pitting in back. It will need a new top,but it does not leak that I've seen.Tires are brand new. Missing a couple of lug nuts on the factory HD 8 lug wheels. The top motor makes noise and works when it wants to. I've had to assist it some going down. It probably needs a pump. Trunk and floors are great. However, the only tiny bit of rust that I can ind is a small section at the rear of the trunk lip (pictured). I also have the Super Rare wheel balancing weight. NEVER ANY BONDO. Interior -It appears to have had new dash pad. Also seats ave been recovered ( BENCH IN FRONT )One light doesn't work, he rest do. All gauges work. Radio does not but the original is in the trunk which is in non working shape. Also original antenna is in the trunk. Door panels are original and worn. The sun visors need to be recovered but with the car. Engine / Trans - Engine starts every time. Runs good. Trans shifts good. Car drives good and stops good. Does leak engine oil. BRAKES HAVE BEEN REWORKED.Matching # powertrain 389/303hp-Muncie (M20) 4-speed, and a 3.90:1 Posi rearend. Summary - it's a car that is a great driver as is but would need paint, chrome work, and interior door panels to be really good. Maybe a top as well. But as I said, his is not a $ 50,000 done car, tit is a fun driver that is rapidly increasing in value. This car has a clear and clean Mississippi title. If you want any more pictures please let me know. Inspections welcome. To discuss the car in full detail, call Scotty at 601-754-1794. PLEASE no games. Serious bidders only.I AM NOT requiring a deposit, but full payment is due within 3 days of auction close. If you can't pay please don't bid. God Bless You and thanks for taking the time to view my auction.
