Up for sale is my 1979 Trans Am. It has the correct PWH 400 block BUT is NOT number matching. It does have number correct transmission 4 spd, the engine is completely rebuilt 60 over, roller motor. All done internally and maintains a completely stock look including carb. Rebuilt carrier unit in rear (clutches, posi and etc. 3.23 gear stock. This car has been completely rebuilt. Powder coated sub frame, all new bushings bearing and suspension either replaced or rebuilt. All parts searched were either old GM stock found or OER replacements parts. Runs real strong but yet is very smooth thanks to the roller motor upgrade performed. A/C blows cold and everything works. Minor problems to be corrected are: speedo runs about 10 MPH off, factory take need to be calibrated or rebuilt, carb. Could use maybe larger jets in primaries. The car is Heritage Brown with camel interior, I have PHS documentation, this is a special vehicle built by Pontiac for our driving pleasure and for sure meets my expectations. Great investment regardless of number matched block because this is museum car it is something to drive and enjoy which it was intended to do. Good luck and happy bidding.
