Here is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous, 1959 Pontiac Bonneville resto mod in perfect condition inside and out. This car has a very interesting history. Out of thousands of cars, it was chosen to be on display at the Shanghai Auto Museum in China from 2006 through 2015 among some of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world. It was also on display at the premiere of the Pixar Animation Studios/Walt Disney Pictures movie "Cars" in May 2006 at Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas before leaving for China. The car is powered by a late model fuel injected Chevrolet LT1 engine backed by a 4L65 automatic transmission and 4-wheel disc brakes. This is truly the ultimate classic Pontiac with the looks and elegance of an exquisitely restored original with the power, drivability and reliability of a new car. It's a stunning car that has had a complete body off, no expense spared, every nut and bolt restoration that looks amazing. The paint is absolutely gorgeous and it looks a mile deep. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is laser straight and everything lines up beautifully. The factory correct looking tri color interior is all brand new and looks amazing. It has 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix bucket seats with 1967 Riviera center console that looks like it came in the car from the factory. The dash and gauge cluster are like new with every piece inside of the car is redone. It has the correct sparkle sparkle carpet that was only available in the Bonneville. It has a custom keyless entry system with alarm. The stereo system in the car sounds amazing with all high end equipment and a CD Changer. In the trunk it looks beautiful and is all redone factory correct and looks amazing!
Mechanically, this Pontiac runs and drives truly amazing. It is truly the nicest and most fun driving 1950's Pontiacs I have ever had the pleasure of getting behind the wheel of. You would think your driving a 2015 with the class and elegance of a 1950's classic. The LT1 motor looks like it was put under the hood by the factory. It is a blast to drive and runs awesome. The frame was completely disassembled and every part was sent out for media blasting and powder coating. The complete suspension was rebuilt and it drives perfect. The front and rear brakes were converted to disc for ultimate stopping power. Under the hood is absolutely detailed to show condition and looks awesome. This car needs nothing. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. I would drive it New York and back as it basically like a new car under the vintage metal.
This is the ultimate classic Pontiac to drive and enjoy. It does not get better then this with all the driving comforts of a new car and looks of a classic.
