Here is an absolutely stunning 1959 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible that is truly one of the finest in the world. It received a complete professionally done, body off, every nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration that took over 10 years to complete. There was over $180,000 invested in the restoration with receipts to back up every penny and that does not include the car to begin with. The gentleman that had it restored, had well over $200,000 in the car in total. The car was completed in 2012 and rarely driven since. All the bugs have been worked out of the restoration and it is ready to drive and enjoy. Absolutely everything on this car was done right and absolutely, everything works on the car from the air conditioning to the clock and it needs nothing!!

This Bonneville is the right one to own as it was sold new in Tucson, AZ at Bill Hoffman Pontiac April 27th 1959. We have the original sales invoice from new. It is a factory Mandalay Red car with factory bucket seats and a tri-tone leather interior with the correct "Sparkle" carpet. It is has its correct top of the line, high performance 389ci 345hp 425lb-ft Tri Power V8 engine with an automatic transmission. The car was even ordered with ultra rare factory air conditioning that works and blows ice cold. It has about every option could order on this car and the best part is that they all work. The previous owner also spent years collecting all its original sales brochures, original shop manuals, original dealer showroom sales items and it even has a rare 1959 Pontiac master salesman's key chain on the keys. It truly does not get any better then this right here!!

This car was branded as the '59 Pontiac Wide-Track and was designed by Harley Earl. It was also Motor Trends car of the year in 1959. The '59 Bonneville is one of the most beautiful cars every produced. I would also compare this car to a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible as it is styled and equipped almost the same way. Exterior:

This Bonneville is absolutely flawless. The paint looks like glass and truly has no imperfections. The body is sold as rock, completely rust free with all its original metal. The fit and finish is spectacular and the sides are straight as an arrow. All the chrome are trim are perfect. The chrome bill alone on this car was over $11,000. It has all new glass and all new weather stripping. It is truly a showpiece. It is sitting on its original wheels with its correct tri bar hubcaps and new Coker classic wide white wall radial tires!

Interior:

The stunning all new and completely restored interior looks better then it did when it was new. The dash and gauge cluster looks like jewelry. Everything was rebuilt in the car and everything works right down to the courtesy lights and clock. It has its original AM radio that was restored and converted to modern AM-FM, which cost over $1,000 to have done alone. It has a new white convertible top, which is power and works great. Inside the trunk was completely restored and finished off with its correct trunk material, spare, jack and accessory retractable trunk light that works!!

Mechanically:

The car runs and drives like a dream. Everything mechanically on the car is new or has been rebuilt from front to back. It has its correct, optional AN-coded 389ci 345hp 425lb-ft tri-power V8 engine that was completely rebuilt. This was the biggest motor they offer for the Bonneville in 1959 and is also the rarest. It has ice-cold factory air conditioning that works absolutely amazing. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy. It even has a polished stainless steel exhaust system. The underside of the car is as clean a whistle. Under the hood looks like a diamond, as it is highly detailed and is a true showstopper. This car has no excuses!
