Description of 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix

Beautiful 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ. This car is heavily optioned to include Tilt. Cruise (aftermarket) Power Steering. Power Brakes. Ice Cold Air Conditioning. Power windows. rear window defrost. bucket seats with console. aftermarket stereo and Hurst T-Tops. The Hurst sticker is still present inside the drivers door as well. The car shows just over 46. 00 miles and will increase slightly through test drives. etc. The mileage on the title is showing as exempt so I will not be able to certify mileage. Engine was pulled last spring to repair a few leaks. While out the engine received a set of milled 6x4 heads with new springs to raise compression slightly. a comp hydraulic roller cam and roller lifters. new double roller timing chain and an Edelbrock aluminum intake. A new waterpump was also installed for reliability. The engine was painted the correct color of blue which only applied to 75-76 Pontiac eninges for correctness. The transmission was pulled at the same time and resealed for a nice dry bottom side. Exhaust has been converted to true duals with a balance tube to make it have the right rumble without being overly loud. The car cruises nice and quiet down the road. The tires are in excellent condition as are brakes. shocks. etc. A factor tach was installed in place of the original clock to help keep an eye on engine RPM while driving this car. The interior is in very good to excellent condition. The plastic still looks very good. interior surfaces are beautiful and the dash is perfect. The exterior has had one repaint with a base/clear finish. The paint is nice and shiny. Very sharp but not true show quality. There are a few exterior items that I will describe. Please look a the photos for more info. -There is one chip in the leading edge of the drivers door about 1" long that has been touched up-One chip in the leading edge of the hood about 1" long that has been touched up-One door ding which chipped the paint on the LR quarter about 1 1/2" long-One spot of rust on the lower RR quarter is beginning to lightly bubble. It is small and would be an easy fix before it grows. -Around the opera window on the drives side there are three imperfections in the paint. They have been there for the 5 years I have owned the car and have not worsened in that time. I believe they were not prepped properly before paint or possibly something fell into the paint after being sprayed. Please contact me with any questions.
